Becoming a Manager

Make today's team priority clear, without automatically taking a colleague's work back.

Monday, 09:00

This is your first week as manager. Maryam and Ali were your peers until last week. An existing customer's report error must be fixed and checked by 16:00. Sales wants a demo tomorrow, and your manager has said the existing customer comes first.

The game shows this morning's decisions only. The 16:00 delivery does not happen here. You do not yet know exactly what help Maryam wants, or what Sales will ask later. Reading the screen does not spend time. The situation is fictional.

The score is out of 10: team result 3, role clarity 2, practical support 3, and responding to change 2. These are exercise rules, not a validated skill or personality test. Two different paths can earn a full score.
